On 27 May, we invite you to a hackathon at Järvaveckan focused on an important question:
How do we increase voter turnout among young people, especially in the Järva area?

To truly make a difference, we have also invited Norrsken and AI Sweden to participate, both of whom have extensive experience in arranging hackathons that highlight and solve societal challenges. Throughout the day, we will develop solutions (with Loveable as platform) that increase young people’s participation in this year’s parliamentary election – concrete ideas that can be tested, used, and further developed immediately.
You are warmly welcome to submit your expression of interest.

We’ve divided the theme into three challenges to choose from:

  • Engaging young people in democracy through digital platforms: We want to develop interactive tools that make it easier for young people to feel motivated to participate, discuss and have an impact on the political conversation – and that strengthen their willingness to use their vote.

  • Reducing the impact of disinformation: We aim to develop solutions that quickly identify, explain and visualise political information, strengthening young people’s ability to determine what is true so they can make informed decisions.

  • Making democratic information more accessible and useful: We want to create digital tools that guide young people through the entire voting process and lower the barriers to participating in this year’s election.

Interested? You are warmly welcome to submit your expression of interest.

We aim for approximately 30 participants. To ensure a balanced mix of perspectives and experience, we will make a selection among those who have expressed interest, and we will get back to you with a clear answer and more information 24 April at the latest.

Questions? Please mail to: tina.thelenius@pwc.com and asa.ahlin@pwc.com.
